The Sainik Schools is very reputed institution of the India. The Sainik Schools is a system of schools in India. The Sainik School managed by the Sainik Schools Society under ministry of defence. They were apprehended in 1961 by V. K. Krishna Menon. Vengalil Krishnan Krishna Menon was the Defence Minister of India. It is also draw inspiration from the Rashtriya Indian Military College or RIMC. The Sainik School disparity amongst the Officer cadre of the Indian Military, and to prepare many students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA). There are more than 26 schools who covering all the states of the country. The Sainik Schools come under the purview of respective state governments and Ministry of Defence.

Admission Procedure of Sainik School

Candidates who want to take admission in Sainik School must know the admission procedure of Sainik School. Here we will provide the procedure of the admission of Sainik School. Admission of all Sainik Schools is only through the entrance exam which is conducted by the Sainik School society. Students who are between the age of 10-11 years and 13-14 years respectively on 1^st July for the years in which they want to take admission are entitled to take admission. Students who want to take admission in IX class should have passed VIII from any recognized schools and students who want to take admission in Class VI should have passed V from any recognised schools.

Note: Admission are granted on the basis of merit prepared based on the entrance test. Entrance Test which includes (Mathematics, Language, and Intelligence for class 6^th and Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Science for the class 9^th followed by the interview and medical examination. The Entrance Exam will be conducted on the First Sunday of January every year at various centers

Sainik School fully residential school and this is run on public lines. All Sainik Schools are member of the All India Public School Conference and Sainik School offer common curriculum which is affiliated by the CBSE Board, New Delhi.
